Course Description

Beginner Song Series

In this series, you will learn the first basic 30 songs that you can sing in any Roda. These songs were carefully chosen to get you started. With these songs, our goal is to get you comfortable with singing in the Roda.

Like anything else in life, the more you learn the more comfortable you will become. The more songs you learn, the easier it becomes to learn even more new songs.

My recommendation is that you work on a new song each week. Some songs will only take you 15 minutes, some may take longer.

I have been teaching Capoeira in San Antonio, TX since 2003. Over the years, I have found that technology can greatly increase students' abilities to learn the more difficult aspects of Capoeira. In my Academy, we have developed a music course that makes learning the songs, instruments, etc. much easier for students of all levels.
